Power is on

I wanted to quickly post this morning because we have power for the first time since Wednesday night's storms. Our home and family are fine. I will post more later, but I wanted to let friends know we had no storm damage. About 30% of the power is on in our city this morning -- all of the power feeds to the entire county were lost from TVA - all eight lines, but this morning power is trickling in. We will have no school for at least a couple of more days. The damage in Tuscaloosa is very difficult for my kids -- the houses they lived in during their  college years are no doubt gone. How thankful we are that our family is safe.  Shannon took the baby to her sister's home in Daphne, and they are fine. I will post again soon, but I just wanted to let friends and family know that we are safe and sound.
